INTRODUCTION

In view of the recent amendment made in the Patents Act, 1970 by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
effective from 01st January 2005, the Official Journal of The Patent Office is required to be published under
the Statute. This Journal is being published on weekly basis on every Friday covering the various proceedings
on Patents as required according to the provision of Section 145 of the Patents Act 1970. All the enquiries on
this Official Journal and other information as required by the public should be addressed to the Controller
General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. Suggestions and comments are requested from all quarters so that
the content can be enriched.

Notice is hereby given that any person at any time before the grant of Patent may give representation by way of
opposition to the Controller of Patents at appropriate office on the ground and in a manner specified under
section 25(1) of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 read with Rule 55 of the Patents (Amendment) Rules,
2006.
Notice is also given that if any interested person requests for copies of the complete specification, drawing and
abstract of any application already published, the photocopy of the same can be supplied by the Patent Office as
per the jurisdiction on payment of prescribed fees of Rs.4/- per page. If any further details are required to be
obtained, the same can be provided by the respective Patent Offices on request.

       Under the new provision of the Patents Act, 1970 as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
and Rules there under, Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India Part III,
Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published
containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th
months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions
of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.


The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are
discontinued from 01/01/2009.

Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.

However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months

Pulveriser with crossing channels through which gas flows at high speed. When powder is introduced the powder particles collide with
each other at the intersection of the channels, with the result that grinding occurs. When the channels are hot (around 700° C) and the
powder is of the correct consistency with a sufficiently fine granular size, the powder ignites very quickly at the same time as it
becomes ground down even more, further increasing the combustion speed. One end of the the pulveriser combustion chamber is
attached to an internal combustion engine. The majority of diesel engines can be re-engineered for operation using hydrolysed wood
powder fuel. Running costs are only around 20 % compared to diesel oil.

(57) Abstract :
Progesterone impregnated vaginal devices other than sponges are available in the market to control estrus in buffaloes, but these
devices are imported and very costly which our poor farmers can not afford. Hence, a need was felt to develop cost effective,
indigenous, progesterone impregnated vaginal device to control estrus in buffaloes. In the present document we hereby report for the
first time the development of cost effective, indigenous, progesterone impregnated, vaginal sponges to control estrus in buffaloes. The
invention relates to slow and sustained absorption of progesterone through vaginal wall into the circulation during the presence of
vaginal sponges in situ vagina for a period of 10-14 days. Further, it relates to suitability of the shape and size of sponge for buffaloes
and can be conveniently inserted with the aid of simple plastic speculum and removed easily by the user. The speculum, plunger and
sponges are fabricated as per the needs of buffaloes. The speculum is made up of plastic material having sufficient endurance
thickness. The plunger is prepared from thick nylon material. Vaginal sponge is prepared using a sheet of spongy foam and thread.
Sponge is imbibed with progesterone solution by applying small aliquots. Sponge is then dried in hot air and kept in a neat and
sterilized polythene bag. Sponges are loaded in speculum through the anterior end by taking out the thread of sponge from its distal
end. Liquid paraffin is applied on the outer surface of loaded speculum as lubricant for smooth insertion of speculum. After intra-
vaginal insertion of loaded speculum, sponge is expelled out of the speculum into the vagina near os-cervix by pushing it through the
speculum with the help of plunger, plunger is retained and speculum is withdrawn. After expulsion of sponge, the speculum and

The present investigation, low cost,indigenous cradle for safe restraining of sheep for pregnancy diagnosis is related to design and
fabrication of simple, indigenous, safe and cost-effective cradle for fast scanning of sheep for pregnancy diagnosis. The requirement
of cradle is pre-requisite for scanning of sheep in comfortable condition. This equipment can easily be assembled by Indian
manufacturers. This cradle is made up of the following components: (i) a rectangular platform open from back and on both lateral side
attached with vertical iron pipes (ii) front side of cradle is attached with a gate (iii) both side portion to standing platform attached
with two lateral gliding rods (iv) stairs for easy movement of sheep (v) cradle is mounted on rollers for its easy movement. The stairs
of the cradle helps sheep to move comfortable towards the platform and after scanning sheep can come down with out any risk of
falling of sheep or any injury. The two gliding stands attached with the both lateral side of the platform help in holding the sheep
according to sheep body width and length. The small gate attached to the front side of the platform has two gliding rods by which the
neck of the sheep can be restrained gently. The material used in cradle is made-up of 16 gauze iron pipe (rectangular and spherical).
Animal is scanned in the cradle in standing position. The operator generally used to stand near left flank of sheep. For transabdominal
ultrasonography a probe of 3.5 to 7 MHz is placed on the groin side of the ewe. Lubricant is used to maximize the contact between
probe and skin. The ideal and reliable period for transabdominal ultrasound is between 40 and 90 days of gestation. The utilization of
this cradle for ultrasonography of sheep may result in safe and accurate scanning with out the fear of abortion and injury to the sheep.
In conventional methods minimum two labours are required to restrain the ewe on its hip. In this improved cradle sheep posture did
not disturbed during the scanning which intern will facilitate easy and fast scanning and ultimately helps in augmenting sheep
production.

First the seeds of the castor plant are collected from forest. These seeds are cleaned four to five times using clean water. [200 to 225
Grams by weight] then wet seeds are crushed in a mixer. After pulverising the seeds, 20 to 40 Grams of Turmeric powder and 30 to 50
Grams of basil leaves are added To this homogenious mixture 200 to 250 mililiter of pure cow milk is added. This is again mixed
throughly to make a uniform pulp. This pulp is allowed to sun dry preventing dirt/dust particles/for a period of three to five
days. After it is totally dry,once again this dried pulp is pulverised by grinding it in a heavy duty mixer. This fine pulverised powder
is put in a hopper of standard capsule making machine to quantify the dose depending upon the sevearity of diseases. As per our trials
and records of the same, the tablets/ capsules manufactured using above mentioned diseases are without any side effects/harmful
effects on the patient. Diseases cured with positive results so far are [1] Jaundice [2] Poisonous Jaundice. [3] Hepatitis-A [4] Hepatitis-
B [5] Diabetes. We certify that this combination of ingradients used by us natural herbal and do not contain any prevented substances.

In the present document we hereby report for the first time the development of cost effective, indigenous, progesterone impregnated, vaginal sponges to control estrus in buffaloes. The invention relates to slow and sustained absorption of progesterone through vaginal wall into the circulation during the presence of vaginal sponges in situ vagina for a period of 10-14 days. Further, it relates to suitability of the shape and size of sponge for buffaloes and can be conveniently inserted with the aid of simple plastic speculum and removed easily by the user. The speculum, plunger and sponges are fabricated as per the needs of buffaloes. The speculum is made up of plastic material having sufficient endurance thickness. The plunger is prepared from thick nylon material. Vaginal sponge is prepared using a sheet of spongy foam and thread. Sponge is imbibed with progesterone solution by applying small aliquots. Sponge is then dried in hot air and kept in a neat and sterilized polythene bag. Sponges are loaded in speculum through the anterior end by taking out the thread of sponge from its distal end. Liquid paraffin is applied on the outer surface of loaded speculum as lubricant for smooth insertion of speculum. After intra- vaginal insertion of loaded speculum, sponge is expelled out of the speculum into the vagina near os-cervix by pushing it through the speculum with the help of plunger, plunger is retained and speculum is withdrawn. After expulsion of sponge, the speculum and plunger are removed carefully. Sponge is kept in situ vagina up to 10-14 days. The requirement of cradle is pre-requisite for scanning of sheep in comfortable condition. This equipment can easily be assembled by Indian manufacturers. This cradle is made up of the following components: (i) a rectangular platform open from back and on both lateral side attached with vertical iron pipes (ii) front side of cradle is attached with a gate (iii) both side portion to standing platform attached with two lateral gliding rods (iv) stairs for easy movement of sheep (v) cradle is mounted on rollers for its easy movement. The stairs of the cradle helps sheep to move comfortable towards the platform and after scanning sheep can come down with out any risk of falling of sheep or any injury. The two gliding stands attached with the both lateral side of the platform help in holding the sheep according to sheep body width and length. The small gate attached to the front side of the platform has two gliding rods by which the neck of the sheep can be restrained gently. The material used in cradle is made-up of 16 gauze iron pipe (rectangular and spherical). Animal is scanned in the cradle in standing position. The operator generally used to stand near left flank of sheep. For transabdominal ultrasonography a probe of 3.5 to 7 MHz is placed on the groin side of the ewe. Lubricant is used to maximize the contact between probe and skin. The ideal and reliable period for transabdominal ultrasound is between 40 and 90 days of gestation. The utilization of this cradle for ultrasonography of sheep may result in safe and accurate scanning with out the fear of abortion and injury to the sheep. In conventional methods minimum two labours are required to restrain the ewe on its hip. In this improved cradle sheep posture did not disturbed during the scanning which intern will facilitate easy and fast scanning and ultimately helps in augmenting sheep production. After it is totally dry,once again this dried pulp is pulverised by grinding it in a heavy duty mixer. This fine pulverised powder is put in a hopper of standard capsule making machine to quantify the dose depending upon the sevearity of diseases. As per our trials and records of the same, the tablets/ capsules manufactured using above mentioned diseases are without any side effects/harmful effects on the patient.
