INTRODUCTION

In view of the recent amendment made in the Patents Act, 1970 by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
effective from 01st January 2005, the Official Journal of The Patent Office is required to be published under
the Statute. This Journal is being published on weekly basis on every Friday covering the various proceedings
on Patents as required according to the provision of Section 145 of the Patents Act 1970. All the enquiries on
this Official Journal and other information as required by the public should be addressed to the Controller
General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. Suggestions and comments are requested from all quarters so that
the content can be enriched.

Notice is hereby given that any person at any time before the grant of Patent may give representation by way of
opposition to the Controller of Patents at appropriate office on the ground and in a manner specified under
section 25(1) of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 read with Rule 55 of the Patents (Amendment) Rules,
2006.
Notice is also given that if any interested person requests for copies of the complete specification, drawing and
abstract of any application already published, the photocopy of the same can be supplied by the Patent Office as
per the jurisdiction on payment of prescribed fees of Rs.4/- per page. If any further details are required to be
obtained, the same can be provided by the respective Patent Offices on request.

        Under the new provision of the Patents Act, 1970 as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
and Rules there under, Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India Part III,
Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published
containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th
months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions
of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.


The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are
discontinued from 01/01/2009.




                                           SPECIAL NOTICE
Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.

However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months

(57) Abstract :
The problem of predicting one-day-ahead electrical power load demand is solved. Various optimal predictors for committee of
recurrent neural networks are designed on each part of the coif 3 wavelet-transformed data to achieve final prediction precisely by
adding the individual forecast of optimal predictors on all components. Feasibility of compactly supported coif 3 wavelet with suitable
number of decomposition levels are investigated to choose the suitable level of resolution for different seasonal load series. The
efficacy of the estimated models are evaluated over different scales such as by partitioning of the randomly chosen data set for
ensuring that the proposed technique is neither biased for specific data nor for any partitioning scheme for obtaining good results
allowing training patterns for different periods of time, different number of epochs and different number of retraining. The capability
of the proposed technique is justified by reasonably low Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) for various weather patterns. The
reliability and consistency in prediction by the adopted technique is justified even in the presence of controlled uniform and Gaussian
noise in input channels.

The process for the preparation of the crack suraksha comprises the mixing of resin and accelerator in the ratio of 5:1 in a mixing

combined and blended together, the compound is then mixed with 1% by weight of marble powder. After the mixing is completed, the
colour pigment is added and again mixed. The composition is then filtered carefully for the removal of the smallest dirt particles and
the composition is bottled. Special catalyst to be mixed with the said composition before application is kept separately in another
container along with the composition. Before application, the composition is mixed with 1 % by weight of an external catalyst so as to
obtain a semi liquid compound. This semi liquid compound is applied or coated within ten minutes on the outer surface of the room
and used as crack filler. The semi liquid compound solidifies and is rendered useless upon exposure to atmospheric conditions beyond
a pre-determined period.

Plants have been the source of medicines in pharmacopoeia. Herbs have been utilized to treat acute and chronic disorders for

candidates for drug research. One such indigenous medicinal plant is Acafypha alnifolia Klein ex Willd, belonging to the family
(Euphobiaceae) is used in the entire investigation. There is no systematic biological activity work that has been undertaken on this
plant. The objective of the present study is to examine the antioxidant, Phytochemical assay and antibacterial activities of leaf extracts.
In Tests for phytochemicals like total phenols, flavonoids and protein were positive in leaf extracts of Acafypha alnifolia.The free
radical scavenging effect, Nitric oxide scavenging assay, Total antioxidant and the reducing power were analyzed in methanol and
aqueous extracts of Acafypha alnifolia leaves. Both the extracts showed better antioxidant activity. The results of antibacterial activity
of various extracts from the leaves of Acafypha alnifolia showed better inhibition towards Bacillus subtilis .Streptococcus
pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebisella pneumonia, Proteus vulgaris and Staphycoccus
aureus. This study is the first report of the antioxidant, phytochemical and antibacterial properties of Acafypha alnifolia. The leaf
extracts can be used as an effective antioxidant, phytochemical and antibacterial agent to combat various ailments caused by the free
radicals and the bacterial species.

institution. A system may include an optimization engine stored on a computer readable medium and executable by one or more
processors, when executed the optimization engine being configured to: receive information identifying available capital of the
financial institution for each of a plurality of capital instruments; receive information classifying each of the plurality of capital
instruments within one of a plurality of risk levels; receive an overall target capital value for the plurality of capital instruments; and
determine an optimum capital value for each of the plurality of capital instruments, the optimal capital values being determined using
an optimization algorithm that relates the available capital for the plurality of capital instruments to the overall target capital value
subject to a plurality of constraints, the plurality of constraints relating to the capital held by the financial institution at each of the
plurality of risk levels.

beam from the mirror chamber 108 travels parallel to the axis and passes through the lens 110 to finally get diverged to illuminate the

The efficacy of the estimated models are evaluated over different scales such as by partitioning of the randomly chosen data set for ensuring that the proposed technique is neither biased for specific data nor for any partitioning scheme for obtaining good results allowing training patterns for different periods of time, different number of epochs and different number of retraining. The capability of the proposed technique is justified by reasonably low Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) for various weather patterns. The reliability and consistency in prediction by the adopted technique is justified even in the presence of controlled uniform and Gaussian noise in input channels. Special catalyst to be mixed with the said composition before application is kept separately in another container along with the composition. Before application, the composition is mixed with 1 % by weight of an external catalyst so as to obtain a semi liquid compound. This semi liquid compound is applied or coated within ten minutes on the outer surface of the room and used as crack filler. In Tests for phytochemicals like total phenols, flavonoids and protein were positive in leaf extracts of Acafypha alnifolia.The free radical scavenging effect, Nitric oxide scavenging assay, Total antioxidant and the reducing power were analyzed in methanol and aqueous extracts of Acafypha alnifolia leaves. Both the extracts showed better antioxidant activity. The results of antibacterial activity of various extracts from the leaves of Acafypha alnifolia showed better inhibition towards Bacillus subtilis .Streptococcus pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebisella pneumonia, Proteus vulgaris and Staphycoccus aureus. This study is the first report of the antioxidant, phytochemical and antibacterial properties of Acafypha alnifolia. The leaf extracts can be used as an effective antioxidant, phytochemical and antibacterial agent to combat various ailments caused by the free radicals and the bacterial species.
