Kellogg is committed to working with 9 communities in the U.S. in a 2 yr. planning phase to see if we can start identifying strategies for social change around this issue. They - along with experts from around the country- believe that we must address the environments that we are living in and begin to address how we can create communities where our residents are healthier. This social change requires that we begin by building relationships and foster engagement around the idea of our environments fostering healthy living. With active and rich engagement, we will create productive public dialogue and begin to influence and shape positive policy decisions, that, in turn, create and sustain vibrant healthy communities where the access of local healthy food and opportunities for youth and families to be physically active are plentiful!
