A 2013 study done by the World Economic Forum estimates data breaches are costing the United States Gross Domestic Product $105 Billion a year or more. The 2014 Ponemon survey of 735 organizations revealed 45% experienced a data breach within the 24 months. Unfortunately the majority of companies and organizations are paying for losses caused by cyber-attacks directly from their bottom line. Great decisions are proactive and informed, not inactive and by default. Take time to analyze your cyber exposure and proactively decide to assume or transfer the risk.
