The new “Web 2.0” tools have the potential to change how we use the web and offer many opportunities for you and your students to build communities of practice. Learning how to become wise “consumers” of the information published with Web 2.0 tools is equally as important as learning how to use these tools to create virtual communities. The new “Web 2.0” tools offer many learning opportunities for you and your students. This session will address how to find, evaluate, organize, and share the best web 2.0 innovations for creating communities.
