Adverbs of Time Some other “how often” adverbs express the exact number of times an action happens and are usually place at the end of the sentence. 1.  This magazine is published monthly. 2.  He visits his mother once a week. When a frequency adverb is placed at the end of a sentence it is much stronger. 1.  She regularly visits France. 2.  She visits France regularly.
Adverbs of Time P R A C T I C E 1.  Paul  goes home on Sundays. Every day 2.  They will write to us . Yesterday 3.  The telephone is ringing . Occasionally 4.  We can see a show . Next year 5.  Henry went there gladly . Often 6.  Joan arrived on . 7.  I  go to the beach in the summer. Tomorrow 8.   we will travel to China. Usually 9.  That tall English man over there  Now  teaches  at my school. Saturday
