working class people who are in there early 20’s or even older then that. If they are interested
in the hip-hop genre that is. This magazine could also help younger children to have belief and
hope in what they want to achieve in life. This is through Jack Loach’s story.

5. The images I have used for my magazine. Are ones that represent the hip-hop culture. Such as the clothing of the
artists. This is something i carefully thought about. I made sure that they wore clothes that apply to the hip-hop
genre such as caps/hats and a hoody. This is known as being the stereotypical male or female of the hip-hop genre.
This then attracts the my target audience and it is easier to sell my magazine to the people who are similar to the
artists.
I have mainly used black and red colours as well as white. Which is not much variety but I think these colours
are very effective. This is because the hip-hop genre is not a very much loud and ‘rock’ type. Plus I wanted to
keep the consistency of the colours throughout my magazine. This is so the magazine looks professional and
more realistic. Also I have researched hip-hop magazines and they mostly use black and red in there magazines.
So I have followed this type of convention.
