7. Problems Addressed in 2012
Standardized information for student
branches
Removed manual paper work for
student branches (single awards portal)
Ease of tracking, measuring and
reporting for staff
Easier to evaluate than before
Single easy deadline for student
branches to remember

8. Challenges (as we grow)
All awards don’t have a proper
nomination template
Forms need to be configured in
myreviewroom to easily filter them
Awards criteria need to be re-visited
Need more people and a better
mechanism to evaluate awards
(exponential increase in volume)

9. 2013 Plans for SAC Awards
• Review and update criteria / nomination template for all
awards
• Include Student Retention as a criteria in Outstanding
Branch Counselor / Outstanding SB Award
• Nominate and authorize a team to achieve this
• Find a way to recruit Awards Committee
• Find a solution to effectively evaluate awards
• Clearly define responsibilities between Regions / MGA
• NOTE: This sessions is not intended to be a discussion time, so, do not raise your issues for
discussion – another part of the agenda will cover any issues that need address by the SAC on
whole, and all others will be handled off-line

10. Initial Proposals for discussion
10
• LKW and Exemplary SB
• Awards received in myreviewroom
• Training and Access granted to regional award
committees
• Darrel Chong, OBC and Enterprise
• OPTION 1 :
Regions filter nominations before a central committee
evaluates (minimum grade or count of entries?)
•OPTION 2 :
Horizontal evaluations (each member reviews a sub-set
of the criteria)
