2. Under the OSH Act, employers must provide a safe working

requirements, here are some general employer responsibilities:
1. Workplace conditions must conform under OSHA
Standards.
2. Employees must have access to use safe tools and
equipment and the necessary means to maintain them.
3. 3. Warn employees of hazards via color codes, posters, labels
and signs.
4. Start and update operating procedures for safety and
health.
4. 5. Provide Outreach Training Programs like online OSHA
course in a language and vocabulary that workers can
understand.
6. OSHA states that “Employers with hazardous chemicals in
the workplace must develop and implement a written
hazard communication program and train employees on
the hazards they are exposed to and proper precautions
(and a copy of safety data sheets must be readily
available).” OSHA provides more information about Hazard
Communication here.
