1. Which of these have you done in the last year? Women in the UK are buying music in both, traditional retail and online. Women in Australia are more inclined to buy music in traditional retail, while for US women I-tunes seem to be the new “big” thing, beside traditional retail. Downloading from mobile phone and I-tunes are done mainly by young women (up to 35years)

2. Have you been given or bought music as a gift in the last year? What was the occasion? Majority of women receive and give music as present. Christmas and birthdays are the most important occasions.

3. Are you planning to buy (or have you already bought) music this Xmas? Do you expect or wish to receive music this Xmas? Less women in the US plan to buy music for Xmas or wish to receive it – a sign of music becoming a commodity in the US (because of I-tunes)?

4. In what music format do you plan to purchase (or have already purchased) this gift for Xmas? Most of the women are planning to purchase music as CD’s for Xmas. However, I-tunes are on the rise on the US.
