6. Mobile SEO
• Google dominates
mobile search
share in the US
(with roughly 98
percent)
7. • More people worldwide will access the
Internet on a mobile device than on a PC
by 2013. (source)
• Mobile searches have quadrupled in the
last year. (source)
• 77% of smartphone users visit search
engines (more than any other type of
website, including social networking). (

• Nine out of ten smartphone searches
result in an action (visiting a store or

8. QR Codes & Print
We really need to start connecting print publication design to
the web. So here is my pitch:
• Print a beautiful folder with a sleeve in the back and the front
with five pages of engaging, visually exciting and timeless
content about the school.
• Now ask for information so you personalize the next print
piece: When a parent or student fills out an inquiry form (in
print or online) try to retrieve his or her interest areas.
Example: I like soccer and drama.
• Next, print a personalized letter to put in the admission folder
with active QR codes pointing directly to corresponding
relative content on the website and/or supply a direct URL in
the printed piece.
15. How does data integration benefit your Mobile
website and your Mobile App
• Data is managed in one place: your SIS
• Up-to-date
• Accurate
• Print Directory can go digital
• View calendar data, including homework!
• Pocket-sized data!
• SMS and E-mail Message to your Phone (Alerts, eNotify
Emails, Blogs, Calendars, Athletics, Academic Blogs or
Class Blogs)

We can't access a class page via the
mobile web can we?
It should work on the iPad..
