4. How does it work? Sign up at twitter.com . Post what you're doing in 140 characters or less! Just type in the “What are you doing?” box and then click on “update.” Send your thoughts, observations, and goings-on in your day.
5. Send Updates via Cell Phone Go to http://twitter.com/devices . Follow the instructions to activate your cell phone, and post updates to Twitter by sending a text message to 40404. (Twitter is free, but standard text messaging rates apply.)
