6. HOW IT WORKS: We have a network of experienced professionals who are already traveling the world. We provide materials and plans for them to give free training in education, healthcare, business skills and the arts. We work with partners and local leaders to ensure that the training is valuable and creates sustainable programs in their communities. 21. SAMPLE PROGRAM: PHOTOGRAPHY How the Program can work in your Community: We will work with your school / community to review and customize the workshop curriculum, timing & student selection. Parents, teachers, and other leaders are involved to help maintain the program. Creative outlet: students find personal expression and build a portfolio which becomes the basis for applications to art schools, photography apprenticeships Income generation: images can be published in calendars, cards, magazines, sold in both local communities and globally through our network. These provide a means for the children to earn an income through their own efforts.
