The effects of Bullying on the Youth
WHAT IS BULLYING? Bullying is a form of abuse. It comprises repeated acts over time that involves a real or perceived imbalance of power with the more powerful individual or group abusing those who are less powerful.[2] The power imbalance may be social power and/or physical power. The victim of bullying is sometimes referred to as a target. Bullying consists of three basic types of abuse - emotional, verbal and physical. It typically involves subtle methods of coercion such as psychological manipulation (Wikipedia).
FACTS OF BULLYING CONTINUED Bullying can ultimately lead to suicide.  Over 25 young individuals commit suicide every year  According to the national healthcare association an estimated 160,000 children missed school every year due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students.
Facts of Bullying 71% of students report bullying as a problem.
