32. If you wish to help financially Donations can be sent to CARES 6705 E. 81st Street, Suite 152 Tulsa , Oklahoma 74133 USA CARES is a 501 (c) (3) organization, registered with the IRS, that can provide a receipt for your taxes. CARES is a Christian Asset management corporation. It will receive donations, provide receipts for tax purposes and forward the funds to the Batanenis’ ministry in the DRC.
33. Donation Details Checks should be made out to CARES with a notation on the memo line in the lower left hand corner that the donation is for one of the following: 1. “Bataneni’s building fund” to rehabilitate one of the old mission houses for the Bataneni family to live in (the most pressing need right now, so it will be ready for their move in the summer of 2011). Estimated cost $17,000.00 (U.S.) 2. Bataneni family personal support (to supplement their income after they move to Nebobongo) 3. Nebobongo Evangelical Hospital ministry support It is very important to make the notation on the memo line, since CARES manages donations and finances for other individuals and ministries.
34. For a end of year giving that will be counted as a 2010 donation, it needs to be received by CARES by December 30. Checks in the mail, received after that date will be credited as 2011 donations.
