Note: Linear Structure A linear structure has no linking or interactivity The problem-solution structure allows you to create a linear structure that asks the user to solve the problem through interactivity
Provide a linear structure with scene branching A linear structure with a few limited choices.
Hierarchical branching Can be useful and economical User might get lost
Single-level thinking No heirarchy The user is presented with a problem and a number of possible solutions
Parallel path architecture Two or more narratives running parallel paths
Passive versus Active Information Delivery Passive: click and read Active: might ask the reader to build something, which is then tested as a failure or success
Forms of Active Information Delivery Ask your readers to report results– provide a form Provide tools like calculators Virtual adviser forms
