Introduction
Title
As you all know, we have been studying the planets and the earth this
Introduction week.
Task A list of the planets is here for you:
Mercury – The planet with the second highest temperature in the
Process Solar System and the closest planet to the Sun.
Venus – The warmest planet.
Evaluation Earth – The only planet in the solar system that is known to have life.
It has one moon.
Conclusion Mars – Sometimes called the "red planet", Mars is the closest planet
to the earth.
Jupiter – The largest planet in the whole Solar System
Saturn – Sixth planet from the Sun. It has giant rings around it.
Uranus – Sometimes called the "sideways planet".
Neptune – The farthest planet from the Sun.
In class, we have learned different characteristics about each planet.
For this project, you will need to take that knowledge and apply it in
the form of a commercial.
What would it be like to visit a different planet? Scary? Fun?
Awesome? I want to know what you think it would be like to travel
through the galaxy into outerspace!

For this project, you will be exploring the possibility of visiting another planet. You will be

been to that planet and now you must advertise to other people about it. What was so

The Process
1. Split into groups of three.
Title 2. I will pick a planet from a hat and assign that planet to your group.
3. Go over the Checklist and get all the information you need to film your commercial.
Introduction 4. During lunch every day this week, I will be available to film your commercial. If you

5. During technology class, I will be showing you how to use this website(

6. You have a week to turn it in!

Conclusion Make sure to include costumes, props, foods that you’ll eat on vacation, who was there
with you, etc. Make this commercial fun! You want people to visit the planet you
visited! Also include who you saw there and what you did!
