- Power View sheets can’t be viewed on SkyDrive. If you save an Excel workbook with Power View sheets to a PowerPivot Gallery, the Power View sheets in the workbook won’t be displayed in the Gallery, but they are still in the file. You’ll see them when you open the workbook.

- Problem: While BI tools offer the ability to uncover information, they are simply too complex and time consuming for the majority of business users.Solution: When business users are excluded from the solution selection process, their need for simplicity is completely overlooked.In some instances executives and managers are technical enough to use a BI tool, but they don’t have the time to work with a BI tool and navigate a data warehouse to produce the information they need. - Problem: Excel wreaks havoc (or rather, the bad use of Excel!) on quality of information. Manual. Prone to errors. Solution: Make it more reliable. Use PowerPivot, forexample. Stop using unregulated, non-secure datamarts.
- Problem: technology can help you to solve business problems. It does not necessarily do it for you. Don’t select a BI tool without a specific need. Information should be given in the right context; find the driver behind it. Solution: Identify the problems first. Meet that need. Any new technology will need to support the processes and the people, as well as the data. Specify how timely information delivered in the right context can accelerate a process, reduce costs, or improve productivity in a particular area. Do not start the project for a general purpose!
