2. Giants
I love the way they the walk on the field with their
bat bags,
We all shout “Go Giants!” and wave our rally rags,
To Timmy’s irresponsible bong,
Or Aubrey Huff’s rally thong.
To the Dodgers we all shout boo,
And we cheer for Posey as he bats .362.
I love the way Cain holds the seams,
The Giants are without a doubt my favorite team.
I will never go without a reason,
To believe in my team this 2011 season.

3. “Mood” Poem
I woke up this morning and
rubbed my eyes,
I stretched out my arms and
started to rise.
I noticed the sun peeping
through the shades,
And all of my tiredness imme-
diately fades.
All I can think about is that
hot, amazing sun,
And how I’m ready for this
summer’s fun.
I heard the birds chirping and
my mother humming,
That’s how I know that sum-
mer is coming.

4. Memories
The feeling of home, it was way too
tense.
Just being a child, none of it made
sense.
When all this happened I was only two,
It happened so suddenly, it was all so
new.
My big sister’s cries and my big
brother’s sighs,
I slowly realized it was all about to die.
Then there was the night that changed
it all,
I got out of my big girl bed and walked
to the hall.
Then I saw him and started to cry,
He said he’d come back, but I knew it
was a lie.
I knew this was it, this was goodbye,
I thought I should give it one last try.
I screamed, “Daddy please, please
don't go!”
He looked at me, closed his eyes, and
walked out the door.

5. “Rhythm” Poem
There once was a man
named Lee,
He lived at the top of a tree.
One day he was baking,
Then the house started
shaking.
Smoke quickly filled the air,
Now he doesn't live any-
where.

6. Ode to Nature
My favorite season is
summer.
any other season is quite
the bummer.
I love the when it’s hot,
and can’t stand when it’s
not.
I don’t like wind, cloudy
weather or rain,
all of that makes
me want to go insane.

7. Limerick Poem
A young boy a little bit nutty
accepted a bear as a buddy.
The bear soon attacked him
with no one to back him,
and now he is feeling so
cruddy.
