Sunroof cassette and headliners equipped with self-gripping fasteners
at strategic locations. APLIX has designed and engineered
two innovative systems for fastening headliners
to sunroof cassettes.
Hook & Loop
Fastening System
APLIX has developed a unique hook & loop fastening
system to replace magnets and bird beak push pins.
Both components are mated without effort aplix® 224 Hook :

3. Trim Ring System
To replace steel trim rings and traditional fasteners,
APLIX introduces plastic trim rings with integrated
hook fields through the use of inter-mold® hook
technology. Full plastic trim rings or brackets can be
designed to incorporate inter-mold® hook fields that
will allow the headliner to attach to the sunroof
cassette utilizing mating aplix® loop components.
