Did you know that there are more than 100,000 job boards out there? This means that there are jobs being
posted online on job boards you are unaware of. Fortunately for you, Google indexes a lot (if not all) of
them. Yet, how does one search all of those job boards? Well, I might have the answer.
Much of the data on many job boards is indexed via Google. As such, searching Google will get you access to
job information you would ordinarily overlook. Don’t believe me? Google “jobs” and look at the domains. In
addition to the usual suspects (like Monster, CareerBuilder, SimplyHired and Indeed) you will no doubt
discover websites you have never heard of before.
Below is a list of search strings that will help you uncover lots of hidden gems to assist with your search. In
some cases the jobs might be outdated but, that is a good thing. Why? Maybe a new opportunity is about to
open up and they have yet to post it. Who knows? If not that, maybe you have a new networking
opportunity? Give it a try. Happy Hunting!

“This was a non stop read for me in just a matter of hours. It's packed full of Boolean tricks that I never knew existed. I was
able to put them into action immediately and see instant results. One resume I found even led to a job offer for the candidate
and a nice commission check for me.”
“I've led HR departments in the past, and struggled to find a quick and easy way to teach my recruiters how to source. Not
being an expert in the area myself didn't help, of course, but I could at least get them the fundamental tools. With this book,
Jim Stroud has created a simple and cost effective training source that I can drop on their desk and know that they will be up
and running in a day. “
“As a job seeker, I found Resume Forensics to be very interesting source of information on how to drill down in a job search
and find out information about people and lesser known positions. While this book is geared more towards recruiters, the
focus on the search terms and keywords also made appealed to me as a job seeker. How to have my resume found via Google
for free rather than by relying on job board searches. Great information and I enjoy Mr. Stroud's presentation style.”
