4. I started a LinkedIn group for
Finnish Social media researchers
in 2011: SMAT – Sosiaalinen
Media Akateemisessa
Tutkimuksessa.
Now we have 200 members.
6. I worked for Nokia 1998-
2009. In 2006 I started to
bring social media tools for our
internal R&D, starting from
wikis.
7. I wanted to try how
wikis would work for
dollhouse hobby.
Nukkekotiwiki was
started in 2006.
8. In 2009 I realised
there were still no wiki
about dollhouse hobby
in English. Mini
treasures wiki was
born in April 2009.
9. Mini treasures wiki is the biggest wiki
(or site) in the world about dollhouse
miniatures hobby with 1200+ pages.
Last year we had
110.000 unique visitors from 171 countries.
54% of them are from United States.
10. As social media
specialist I am using
Mini treasures wiki
as my learning
platform where I can
test e.g. new social
media services and
play with the
community.
11. The all time top 10 traffic sources (Nov 2009-May 2013)
15. The biggest countries
are USA (257), Finland (138),
UK (88), Spain (82), Italy (31),
Denmark (30) and Canada (25)
representing 66% of all fans.
16. In one year the amount
of our 450 Flickr
group members has
grown from 450 to 500.
The members posted
about 3000 photos during
the year
(total 9700 photos).

17. Mini treasures started using
Pinterest in 2012.
It now has 20 boards
and 157 followers. The biggest
board has 970 pins and
711 followers
(in March 2013).
18. We have also
556 (last year 420) followers
in Twitter, 146 (115) members
in Blogger and 11 (10)
subscibers in YouTube.
19. In 2011 Google fell in love
with us bringing 3 times more
visitors than in 2010 and the
trend continued: in 2012
Google brought us 112%
more traffic than in 2011.
