James Jimenez is organizing a walk called "Walkah Walkah" from Laoag City to Matnog to promote voter education and registration. The walk aims to educate the estimated 3 million new voters who have turned 18 since the last registration period in 2013. It will also highlight the need for the 9.6 million registered voters to have their biometrics taken by November 1, 2015 or risk disenfranchisement. Through face-to-face community meetings along the route and social media, the walk hopes to emphasize the personal importance of voting and its impact on both present and future generations.

10. As we travel the length of the largest island of the
Philippines , we will be sending images to the rest of the
country through social media. In doing so, we underscore
for voters in other parts of the country what is truly at stake
in every elections, beyond the mere thrill of picking the
winning side.
