Tatra Mountains is Part of the Carpathian
Mountains.
This mountain range is one of the highest in
Europe.
It provides really alpine landscapes.
It is inhabited by a small ethnic group called ‘ the
highlanders’ – gorale.
The mountains are home to many species in
danger: tatra chamois, red deer, brown bears and
many more.
The highest point in Poland – Rysy 2,499 m.
Tatras are protected by law – UNESCO.
