This is my presentation on Perspective for my 7th graders.

5. Step One
Make a horizon line across your paper in the middle.
Place a vanishing point on the horizon line.
Above or below this point, draw a square.
Connect the visible corners to the vanishing point.
Remember this is a solid 3D shape now and Always UseYour
Ruler.

First, draw the horizon line and add the vanishing point.
Above or below this point, draw a box.
The box should be one inch wide for each letter with 1/4 inch
space in between letters.
The letters should be 2 inches tall, use your ruler.
Inside the boxes, draw boxy letters that use all of the corners
of the box possible.
Connect all of the visible corners to the vanishing point.

Draw a horizon line, draw two vanishing points on either side
of the horizon line, 1/2 inch in from the paper.
Find the center of the paper, draw a vertical line that is 6
inches long- 3 inches above and below the horizon line.
Connect the top and bottom of the line with the vanishing
points- making a diamond shape.
Draw lines 1- 2 inches apart.
Make them closer as you get to the vanishing point.
Make the roof lines vary using you ruler and the vanishing

Draw a horizon line with two points at either end, then draw
a line extending perpendicularly to the horizon line.
Then draw lines creating triangles on those points.
Making a cube in the center, with a bottom.
This technique is best used drawing something you are
looking up at.
