Scott Tucker Leawood had insisted at the beginning of the 2012 ALMS season that his Level 5 Motorsports team had no intention of changing any of the tactics that had led them to victories in the 2011 LMP2 class of ALMS. It was clear that Scott Tucker Leawood would be teaming up with his trusted co drivers Christophe Bouchut and Joao Barbosa.
2. Scott Tucker Leawood had insisted at the
beginning of the 2012 ALMS season that
his Level 5 Motorsports team had no
intention of changing any of the tactics
that had led them to victories in the 2011
LMP2 class of ALMS.
It was clear that Scott Tucker Leawood
would be teaming up with his trusted co
drivers Christophe Bouchut and Joao
Barbosa.
3. With the just concluded 12 Hours at
Sebring and the success of the team, it
has become obvious that their strategy is
working. It was the third consecutive win
at Sebring for Scott Tucker Leawood.
Since the going has been phenomenal for
Level 5 Motorsports, all eyes are on Scott
Tucker Leawood if he would be able to
pull off some interesting results at the
Long Beach leg of the season.
4. The racing weekend in California is one
of the most competitive in the entire
ALMS season and it brings together some
of the best racing cars, drivers and the
tracks provide for some of the toughest
racing in the calendar.
It remains to be seen if Scott can
continue the dream run along with his
set team.
5. The untoward crash at the FIA World
Endurance Championship that Christophe
Bouchut met with had raised doubts if
the No. 055 car would be in the desired
condition to compete at Long Beach
although there were assurances from the
team manager David Stone that they had
all the necessary parts to fix the
problems and that Christophe would be
able to race with the No. 055 car.
6. Standing at the verge of the weekend
extravaganza, it seems that indeed the
Level 5 Motorsports team has worked
their nights out to get the car back to
shape and potential.
The Long Beach circuit stretches for
about 1.968 miles and has as many as
12 turns. The Long Beach event which is
a part of the Long Beach Grand Prix race
weekend produces some of the best
moments in competitive racing.
7. It would get really exciting if Scott
Tucker Leawood and his team manage to
pull off a fine start at the second stop on
the ALMS calendar.
Now that all the speculations about the
car Scott Tucker Leawood would be
driving and the perceptions of the Honda
prototypes not being ideal for Tucker
have been proved wrong, it must be a
competitive event at Long Beach.
8. Winning at the Long Beach would take
Scott Tucker Leawood a step closer to
defending his 2011 LMP2 title.
