- Why is an economist standing here talking to us about architecture…it’s because architecture is not just important for architects, it’s not simply a matter of aeshetics and structural integrity…the buildings designed by architects are designed to be used by people!

- Research shows that the size of a city is exponentially correlated with the amount of innovation (a city ten times larger than Kigali wouldn’t just be 10 times more innovative, it would be 17 times more innovative.)
