The use of social media in
museums is not necessarily about
reinventing the wheel but, for
providing a new interface in order
to connect with new audiences
and attract a more diverse
network.
15. Using all of these museum related events, form connections
through three different social media outlets.
A New Exhibit: Sustainable Peterborough: Before, Now, and
Beyond (Twitter)
An Educational Program: Sustainability in Action (Facebook)
A Lecture Series: Word on the Hill (Podcast or SlideShare)
Make sure to add your own ideas,
thoughts and reactions.
Remember the purpose of social
media is to connect people and
make new links within a
community!
