3. Amount of Precipitation and climate Venice is a state that consist of mostly small islands and large scale of water. During July and August the state experiences high humidity with hot weather. Due to its geographical location Venice experiences mostly thunderstorms and rainfalls during autumn and spring Causing floods called Aqua Alta. Venice experiences 2 – 4 inches of rain.
