1. MY ENGLISH e-PORTFOLIO
Portfolios are becoming really important these days in many fields not only language
learning. A portfolio is a collection of information and materials about you (skills,
qualifications, evolution, training, experiences, etc.) The European Union has also created
the European Language Portfolio PEL (with a digital version, ePEL , of it for people older
than 14 years old). This year we want to have a digital portfolio about your English learning
experience. Maybe it is a good idea to use it for other languages you are studying
(Spanish, French, etc.)
As it is digital, you will need a pendrive. Create a folder with the label “ePEL”. Inside that
folder you can create three more different folders as shown below:
ePEL
Language passport
Here you can include your
qualifications (official
certificates, school grades,
etc.)
Language biography
Here you can include
reflections about your
competence in the language,
learning styles, self-evaluation,
learning diary,
etc.,
Dossier
Here you can include
examples of projects,
materials you have made,
etc., in different formats. We
suggest opening different
folders for:
• Audio
• Video
• Texts
• Miscellaneus
