This project seeks to promote knowledge and
understanding of money matters, primarily matters of
student personal finance.
Received positive feedback from school staff and
students
Requested to return for additional presentations
Attended SIFE regionals and nationals
Early stages of planning a weekend event

8. Transition into a New Culture
International students are a very important part of University
of Alberta and Edmonton. However, they may face serious
culture shock, loneliness and stress when living abroad. We
are actively organizing programs helping them conquer those
difficulties.
Plan for next year:
Finish the Market Research on International Students in
Edmonton to identify their need
Speed networking day with Canadian students.
Amazing Race - Team (that consists of at least one
international/Canadian student) will compete in various
challenges.
Blind Date - Near Valentines day, we will have a team
that consists of one international student with
one Canadian student, and put them through series of
couples game and crown the winner.

Landscaping version of College Pro Painting
Hire and manage at risk-youth workers!
Be your own boss!
Have the best summer job of your life!

10. Healing Camp
• Create a volunteer-run community center
• Support Habitat For Humanity in their Operation
• Provide temporary housings for homeless, low-income
family, and at-risk youth
• Help these individuals, family get a second start at their life

What is Pale Vista? A student run consulting firm
that aims to aid volunteer and charity organizations.
