Founder – Kristian Nielsen
Kristian brings a wealth of job creation and career counseling experience with him to Hawaii. Originally from
Denmark he moved to Hawaii ‘98 to attend Hawaii Pacific University, graduating with a BSBA, an MBA, a wife,
and an affinity for Hawaii. Post-university Kristian moved to London, UK, where he spent a year, and then to
Tokyo, Japan, where he has lived for the past 10 years, working in executive search / recruiting. In 2009 he
launched Diamond Head Group K.K. - a Tokyo based executive search firm, which quickly gained recognition as
one of Japan’s premier financial executive search firms. The dream to move back “home” to the Aloha State with
his wife came true January 2012.
Philanthropy:
“CNN Heroes” is an inspiring program, showcasing some amazingly charitable individuals, including Narayanan
Krishnan, one of the show’s Heroes, who claims “the ultimate purpose of life is giving”. The show had a great
