2. Rajat Gupta, Director
Rajat leads the business development and Investor relations at TESSOL.
Rajat has worked extensively in the energy space across India, Europe and US.
Having worked with several early stage startups like 3Tier, Flodesign, Promethean
Power, he brings in deep understanding of product design, technology
commercialization and market entry strategy in the cleantech space. At Promethean
Power, he led strategy and operations as the Chief Operating Officer bringing its
thermal storage technology for milk cooling successfully from concept to market in
less than a year.
Recently as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Infuse Ventures, he led their venture
creation initiatives with an aim to create and incubate innovations in the cleantech
space. He successfully launched the first venture accelerator for cleantech in India
bringing together top clean energy startups and mentors from across the country.
Rajat is a mechanical engineer from IIT Delhi and an MBA from Harvard Business
School. Prior to joining HBS, he started and led the Infrastructure projects business at
Bosch Rexroth India, an Indian subsidiary of the Robert Bosch Group.

3. Rustom Irani, Director
Rustom leads administration and financial management at TESSOL.
Rustom has an undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in accounting
and an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management.
During his 7 years working in Corporate America, Rustom has held several
positions at Hess Oil as well as with M&T Bank. When Rustom returned to his
hometown Mumbai after spending 15 years in the United States, he pioneered the
concept of branded packaged ice using energy efficient ice machines.
Today, Icelings is the largest manufacturer of packaged ice in Mumbai and one of the
largest manufacturers of tube ice plants in the world. Icelings has recently installed
the worlds largest ice plant for a Gold mining company in South Africa for it's
thermal energy storage for cooling one of the world's deepest mines.
In addition Rustom has diversified into the seafood processing business as well as
renewable energy with captive wind power generation of 7.5MW. Rustom is presently
the President of the Seafood Exporters Association of India as well as the Windmill
Owners Association of India.

4. Falgun Shah, Director
Falgun leads technology and operations at TESSOL.
Falgun holds a Masters in mechanical engineering from IIT Chennai and MBA
(Finance) from B K School of Management. He holds host of additional professional
qualifications like Diploma in Quality Management, Lead Accessor ISO 9000, Six
Sigma Green Belt.
Recipient of Dr. Homi Bhabha award for technical excellence at BARC, India in 1986,
he brings in over 28 years of rich industrial experience in fields ranging from heat
exchangers (Larsen and Toubro) to home appliances - air coolers and air conditioners
(Symphony Comfort Systems Ltd, and Airtek International).
He has held top positions in manufacturing operations and product development at
Symphony and Airtek International. As executive director at Princeware Africa
Limited, he grew the company from scratch to a profit making 12M USD company
within 3 years. He has worked in Asia and Africa and travelled extensively across the
Globe.

5. Key Engineering Team Members
Goraksh Takalkar, Technical Lead – Thermal Engineering
Goraksh is responsible for development, analysis and prototyping at TESSOL.
Goraksh is completing his Ph.D on heat based refrigeration systems under Prof.
Bhagwat from ICT, Mumbai.
He is an innovator who has experimented with absorption chiller, compression heat
pumps and heat exchangers. He brings in strong capability to develop and experiment
new systems for TESCOM.
