Go Virtual! - Strategies for Successful Participation in Virtual Learning
Presented at the Beijing Learning Summit 2010 What does it mean to participate in a conference or a webinar virtually? How can you 'flatten' your professional development and your classroom to include online learning opportunities? This session explores tools and behaviours for successful virtual communication and collaboration using Flat Classroom Conferences and live events as well as the impending Global Education Conference as examples. Participants will be invited to a virtual Elluminate session as part of this presentation and learn how to include students as well as colleagues in virtual learning environments. This session was run in Elluminate with a 'real' BLS audience as well as a virtual online audience.
