1. Let’s call this function Batman. Batman wants to be an even function, so what must Batman look like if he were to be an even function?

2. Since even funtions are mirror images on the Y axis, we just flipped Batman over, so that f(x)=f(-x)

3. Batman wants to be an odd function now! He thinks that if he flips himself over the y axis and the x axis that we will become an odd function, by the law f(-x)=-f(x)
