BEACH CLEAN AT JENNYCLIFFE Written by Joanne HIGSON DCRS Training & Outreach Coordinator A GROUP of service users, staff and volunteers took part in th a beach clean at Jennycliff Beach on Monday, 30 April 2011. It didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the group who collected around fifteen bags of rubbish including plastic bottles, glass and metal which would otherwise present a risk to the marine life in the Plymouth Sound... and to those enjoying the beach. First Buses generously provided bus tickets for those travelling from the City Centre to get the No. 2 bus out to Hooe Lake and the group walked over the hill to be greeted by the wonderful views of Plymouth Sound!
