About Verax OSS/BSS

The Verax OSS/BSS Suite is a service delivery
    platform (SDP) allowing Communication
Service Providers (CSPs) to define, provision,
monitor and bill services in convergent,
    multi-play, telco 2.0 environments. The
OSS/BSS Suite enables CSPs to retain ARPU,
    prevent churn and generate additional
    revenue streams through rapid development
    of new services.

Business rationale

Verax OSS/BSS Suite is a crossbreed between
    a development framework and COTS
    software, enabling rapid development of
bespoke telco solutions with typical 1:1
    license vs. service cost ratio.
It is targeted for CSP needing rapid
deployment of new services at affordable
    price („telecom-in-a-box” approach).

 NMS (veraxsystems.com/en/products/ossbss#nms) is a highly
scalable IP and other network management (3GPP, CORBA, TL1,
Q3/CMIP) system featuring full FCAPS (fault, configuration,
accounting, performance, security) functionality and network
visualization using map services. The NMS supports rules-based
business logic for tasks like alarm correlations, generating system
 events, notifications and others.

 AAA Manager (veraxsystems.com/en/products/ossbss#aaamanager)
is a GUI front-end allowing seamless management provisioning
on multiple AAA servers such as Radius, Diameter and others.
AAA Manager helps network operators to provision and
manage AAA users and groups across distributed servers,
manage attribute templates as well as generate cross-server
graphical charts and reports on usage and sessions.

EAI-readiness

Verax OSS Suite has been designed with easy
integration in mind and is open and EAI-ready:
     Externally-initiated integration options include:
Native – using RMI to communicate directly with
        OSS/BSS services.
        SOAP-based – using SOAP gateway.
     OSS/BSS-initiated integration options include:
Batch Manager (BM) driven – batch manager can run
the OSS JRuby scripts within the JVM at certain times.
Event driven – the scripts are invoked reactively to
events in the system (e.g. NMS events, alarms, etc.).
Workflow controlled – for advanced scenarios.
