- What You should also include what research or background work has been undertaken?
- How : this is really about the project management and implementation side of things. TIP: Tables or gantt charts can be the most effective way of communicating timescales, budgets, phases, milestones and responsibilities.
- Regarding ongoing maintenance – it is important to consider that there is thought given to the maintenance of the project after it is completed. Whether that is a case of tending to the landscape or maintenance / repair work. The main point here is to be clear about responsibility and their relevant expertise. Do include CV’s testimonials / references of relevant parties.
- I’d recommend brainstorming your idea right away, before you complete your application or start work on a structured plan. It’s a quick way to get your ideas down and focus.
- Test your idea with a SWOT analysis. Not essential but useful – through the planning process you might find out that the idea you had may not be viable or come up with a better one.
- A short business plan is always best. Make sure you include detail, but do not overlabour and include a 50 page book on what it’s a good idea to create an solar powered illuminated fountain in kirk michael. Keep it focused, appropriate, organised and use bullet points. Make use of tables, photos and diagrams. Put extra info in an appendix at the back (cv’s, profiles, market research etc).
