6. THE FRONT COVER
In the front page it shows the main footballer of the week where in this picture it is
Ronaldo and on the side we can see all the other main story's.
As the main footballer is on the front page this will attracted a lot of young people
because everyone knows that Ronaldo is the best player in the world and a lot of young
people want to be like him so this will get people to buy it because they can see what there
idol had been saying or what has been there greatest moments of the week.
The colours are much more bright with yellow and the red headline which stands out
and most of the colours used are most of all the colour that young boys would like that is
why it used in the magazine.
There is also the bbc logo in the corner showing what is this magazine based on
because match of the day is originally a TV programme that shows what's going on in the
football industry from top matches, transfers and other football news because it’s a late
night show kids wont get to watch it that is why the magazine was made for children to keep
up with what's going on with there idols or favourite teams
7. ARTICLE/FEATURE
Most the articles are about footballers and with this magazine it was about all
footballers where they have transferred to which the pages are colour to the teams they
were in and the ones they are going in.
The pages in also set with a big picture of the footballer with a small amount of
next to it unless it is one of the biggest transfers ever done then there will be a whole
article about them.
The written style for magazine is big bold and for the actually article it is either
white, black, red or yellow writing because its the same colour as the logo.
This is suited to the target audience because most of the people reading the
magazine are young and it is easier for people at that age will be easier for them to
read.
8. ADVERTISING
This magazine advertises little business that do football activity's for kids
and in this magazine this was about a keepy uppy contest.
The advert includes a child keeping up the ball which shows the contest
and it also promotes the magazine it self telling us what is inside of the
magazine and what to expected
This relates because many young people mostly boys are in football teams
or want something to do on the weekend and they want to compete in sport
which helps them connect to there target audience
The colours in the advert and articles are the same by having the same
colours as the articles them self and there also the same by that the bold
writing and how it gets your attention straight away
