A Brief introduction to Pokemon Pokémon– An Introduction
What is Pokémon? The series of video games primarily for Nintendo handheld game systems, as well as the overarching franchise based on these games. Though many things differ depending on a specific canon's interpretation of the series, what remains constant is the focus on creatures known as Pokémon, which can be captured, trained, and used to compete against one another in battle or, more recently, other activities.
What is Pokémon? The Pokémon franchise was not only limited to video games. It also included trading card games, figurines, shows, and anime.
The Pokemon Video Games Pokémon was first sought after for its video games, especially the handheld ones. The games enable players to embark on their own Pokémon adventure, capture and collect Pokémon, fight trainers, collect the 8 badges from their region, and fight the Elite 4, the regions’ greatest trainers.
The Pokemon Video Games Players are also allowed to battle real-life players through link cable (Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advanced) and through wi-ficonnection and DS wireless connection (Nintendo DS). As of Generation IV, only Generation II games and its remakes (Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, SoulSilver) enabled users to go to another region other than the one assigned in that Generation.
