the stakes”, increasing students’ motivation to do
high-quality work, and adds to the authenticity of
the project (bie.org)
2. Contemporary graduates require explicit instruction
on how to write, make effective presentations, or
otherwise express themselves in various modes.
3. Using a blend of online and real-life learning
environments increases opportunities for students
to find authentic audiences and build their ‘PLN’.
