1. The Rise of the Global Talent... by Kenny Beck
America is not the world. It is merely the largest microcosmic reflection of the world of entertainment,
on the planet, which embodies the hopes and dreams of every human being who has ever dared to
dream something most would argue is impossible.
As daunting a task as it is, as frustrating a job as it may seem to be, even broaching the subject in
earnest with all of you here, what choice do I have now but to keep forging ahead. I could never give
up. If I were to relent and capitulate to the naysayers, "the negatives" or those who utterly despise me
or what this all means in the scheme of things, who would be punished by a greater disservice. or such
a monumental let-down?
Perhaps some of you may consider this to be pure ranting, about an idea or concept that has never been
mentioned or taken to task in any way, shape, form or fashion before I started talking about the
possibilities. Fact is, I have been "talking about these things" for more then a decade; in some relative
form or another. Superstarcase.com; it's first discourse or rhetorical mentioning of it was more of
"descriptive passage unloading" the conceptualization of an entertainment "superstructure" that would
house developed proponents or tools, cast them into a mixture of likened persona's, while celebrating
and appreciating the brilliant little nuances; vast differences that separate each and every individual
skill, which constitutes an not liquefied elixir known as the performing arts.
How do you take it? How do you swallow it? These have been the problems I have faced everyday for
the past 12 years or so when trying to give folks a proper understanding of exactly what Superstarcase
(and the concept of a global artist) are all about. The few intelligently heady folk I have found here in
this and a few of my other groups; a tremendous current of "brilliant", future leaning, creative-soon-to-
be icons on the prolific business site, Linked In.
The creative talent housed their in specifically creative groups is astounding groups, makes on salivate
at the possibilities of the not-to-distant future. Though I may be first to take the discussion this far, I
will certainly not be last. It has been my mission to open up doors and tear down walls, brick by brick
if I have to so that others with the capacity to institute significant change in the way we allow
limitations to keep our minds encased in a mesmerizingly large glass box, seemingly with no walls.
Alas, there are walls which we fail to acknowledge because of the crystal clear imagery in front of us.
If I could ever convince any of you to fully relinquish your embrace on the limiting structure we have
been chained to for a thousand years or more, you would move proudly, confidently and freely into the
world anywhere and bode to establish a seed of these thoughts everywhere. If you get even an inkling
of what I'm talking about now, you will begin to start knowing what the book I am writing is all about.,
