This document describes instructions for making Easter cookies as an object lesson for teaching youth about Easter. The cookies use various ingredients and steps to represent different parts of Easter story. For example, pecans are beaten to represent Jesus' beating, vinegar is tasted to represent what Jesus drank on the cross, and the cookies are left in an unheated oven overnight to represent Jesus in the sealed tomb. The lesson uses scripture readings at various steps to explain the meaning behind each ingredient and step.
