Here’s some background information about me. I love what I do! I’ve had lots of different jobs in financial services, high-tech, retail, higher education, and lots of education, and I’m excited to share my experiences with you tonight, to help make this year the year of YOUR dream career. It took me several years to figure out what I wanted to do. I went to business school b/c my dad was a banker and he thought I should. So I did, and studied French and psychology, too. I had lots of corporate jobs before I landed in higher ed – loved being back on campus. Lured back to high tech during the boom, which fell. I took some time to re-assess what I really wanted and moved into counseling almost 10 years ago, first at some local universities, and now run my own business, working mostly with young professionals. MOST of my jobs are the result of networking! Mostly because people knew me, my skils, my interests, and my values. Of course it helped that I knew them, too. I know where you’ve been – I’ve been “stuck” in a “good” job, making good money, driving a nice car – and hated going to work every day! I want to help you get unstuck.
