How the education system can support skills development for
employers and individuals

Education at all levels needs technology that is
designed for learning, teaching and assessment.

Assessment needs to provide:
• useful information to employers about quality and
consistency;
• useful diagnostic feedback to individuals about their
learning;
• a solid basis for transferable skills to aid progression.
