2. DAY1: IMPORTING AND
EDITING
STEP1. I went to file and
then log and capture
Step2. After I
have imported it
into final cut it
then appears on
my timeline and I
am then able to
drag it to the
timeline and then
edit it.
Step3. After you have
dragged the clips you wanted
into the timeline you’re then
able to cut using this.
Step4. After you have cut I then
for some of the sound used this
pen mark where I clicked it on
the part I wanted the sound to
be raised or lowered. I did this
so it would work well with other
sound I have used.
3. DAY2: EFFECTS AND
FADE
Step1. I went to
effects, video
transitions, dissolve
and then I chose what
effect I wanted and
dragged it to the clip.
4. GARAGEBAND
DAY:3
I created music by choosing what mood, such as dark or intense, then choose an
instrument to convey that mood, like piano, acoustic etc. It then shows me a list where I
choose what music would be suitable for the scene it's for. This picture is what I have
done so far.
5. GARAGEBAND
DAY:4
To edit the music I move the bars up or down and left or right to convey the effect I want the
music to convey. For this piece I have on screen Iam moving the bars closer together so there is
a continuation and not a stop start effect but a slow build and the music gets louder and
louder. I then went to share and exported it as an mp3 file so I can import into final cut.
6. DAY5: MOTION
I went to text and wrote what I
wanted
I then went to generator and I
could change the colour and
text
This is where
I changed my
colour and
font.
7. DAY5: MOTION
I went to
Behaviour first
I then went to
text animations
Finally I went to type on
and dragged it across the
image and that is how the
text became typed on as it
did.
8. OVERALL
• This is how I used motion. I did the same thing for my credits as well
9. TIMELINE PROGRESS
This is my timeline of
my editing so far.
This is the beginning
of the process.
This again is my
timeline
progressing. As
you can see I am
half way through
finished editing
This is my timeline finished and all
my editing is finished.
10. DAY6: EXPORTING
Step1. I went to
File and then
went to share.
Step2. I then typed my title
of my product up onto
Youtube and pressed
Export
Step3. After you have
clicked Export it then
exports the final into a
quicktime movie where
you would import into
youtube.
