Calendars can be sync’d
by using Google
Calendar as an
intermediary.

have a Google
account, sign up for one

3. Sync’ing Calendars
• On your PC with Outlook, download and
install the Google Calendar Sync application:

sync.m.en.softonic.com/
• Installation instructions are provide in the link
above.
4. Sync’ing Calendars
• Configure Google
Calendar Sync options
with your Google email ID
& password.
• Be sure to choose the “2-
Way” Sync Option and
then click the Save
button.
• Your Outlook calendar
will now sync with your
Google calendar
automatically.

5. Sync’ing Calendars
Open iPad “Settings” and select
“Mail, Contacts, Calendars” on the
left side, then touch “Add Account…”
Select “Gmail”
6. Sync’ing Calendars
Type in your Google login
information and touch the “Next”
button.
If you get the “Cannot connect
Using SSL” warning, touch “Yes”.
7. Sync’ing Calendars
It’s possible email ports may be blocked
by a firewall. After a 60 second timeout
you will see this warning. Touch “OK”.
Touch “Next”.
8. Sync’ing Calendars
Turn off “Mail” before touching
“Save”.
This error is likely due to email ports being
block by a firewall. Since we are only
concerned about calendar syncing, touch
“Save”.
9. Sync’ing Calendars
In “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”
settings scroll down to and touch
“Default Calendar”.
Ensure your Gmail calendar is
selected as default.

10. Sync’ing Calendars
• Open the iPad calendar and
touch the Calendars button
at the top of the screen.
• Select your Gmail account if
it’s not already selected.
• You can click refresh to
force a sync of the calendar.
• Your done! Any changes
you make to either your
iPad or Outlook calendars
will automatically sync
based on the settings you
just configured.
