2. Nancy Drew Nancy Drew is a young girl from River Heights. The Secret Stairs was her second mystery. It a all started whenever she went to a friends aunt’s house. There was a “ghost” that kept taking money and jewelry. She also scared the elderly aunt. That’s when Nancy started on the case.
3. The “Ghost” The “ghost” scared the people. One day the ceiling gave way and crashed down on them. They tracked the “ghost” to the attic. They discovered that the ghost never did go to the attic, but that the ghost was in the aunt’s room.
4. The Secret Stairs Nancy went to a twin mansion that looked exactly like the one she was staying at. She went to checked it out. When she was in one of the rooms, she discovered a secret staircase that connected the two mansions together. The people who already built and lived in them had been best friends. They wanted to be able to see each other all the time. Nancy discovered this and found the “ghost” in the passageway. Nancy solved the mystery!
