A Trenton man is convicted for the murder of his brother.
Yesterday Tormu (TORE-MOO) Prall, 49, was found guilty of murder, felony murder,
attempted murder, and aggravated arson after intentionally setting fire to the home he
shared with his brother in 2007.
The fire killed Prall’s brother and left another person who was sleeping there badly
injured.
According to prosecutors, Prall set fire to a flammable liquid he had sprayed around his
brother’s bedroom while he slept.
Friends of the deceist say thhe brothers had several “heated arguments over household
expenses” and Prall’s brother warned he could no longer live there unless he contributed
to these expenses.
The woman who was injured in the fire, Kimberly Meadows, spoke during the trial,
describing how she woke up to find her legs on fire and Prall’s brother on fire from the
waist up.

On a lighter note, Sea Isle City is now open for business.
City officials wanted everyone to know they were not completely devastated by
superstorm Sandy.
In order to invite people back into the city officials rented a billboard outside the Lincoln
Tunnel for motorists to see.
The billboard reads “We’re Ready.”
And those two words say it all.

Former New York City mayor Ed Koch died this morning at age 88.
Koch died from congestive heart failure, said spokesperson George Arzt.
The former mayor was admitted to the Intensive Care unit on Thursday after he began to
feel very tired. Later that afternoon he lost consciousness and eventually passed away
around 2 a.m. Friday.
Koch served as a U.S. congressman from 1968 until he ran for mayor of New York City
in 1977. He served three terms as mayor.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg was quoted by CNN, saying “ New York City has lost an
irrepressible icon. In elected office and as a private citizen, he was our most tireless,
fearless, and guileless civic crusader...his good works—and his wit and wisdom—will
forever be a part of the city he loved so much.”
After Koch left office, he practiced law, hosted a radio show, was a newspaper columnist,
and made countless Tv appearances. Koch made cameos as himself on television shows
such as “Sex and the City” and”Spin City.”
Koch was one of only three New York mayors to be reelected twice. Besides him, the
other two were - Fiorello LaGuardia and Robert Wagner.
A funeral will be held for Koch on Monday.

Just after 1:00 this afternoon a suicide bomber blew himself up outside the U.S. embassy
in Ankara, Turkey.
The blast killed a Turkish guard.
No American officials were injured, according to a U.S. official.
The suicide bomber has been identified by the Istanbul police as Ecevit Shanli (EH-SEH-
VEET SHAN-LEE). Shanli is a member of the Marxist Leninist terrorist group DHKP-C.
According to CNN.com, “Hasan Selim Ozertem, a security expert at the International
Strategic Research Organization in Ankara, said the attack could be related to arrests of a
number of DHKP-C members two weeks ago.”
Turkish police have been closely monitoring the terrorist group since the 1970’s, said
Ozertem. Since the beginning of January, over 85 members of the group have been
arrested.
The terrorist group is believed to have relationships with many other groups, such as
those in Syria and Iran, as well as many others.
CNN reports that “the FBI will investigate the bombing along with local authorities.”

Alex Rodriguez is surrounded by controversy again...
The New York Yankee is being accused of using performance- enhancing drugs.
Rodriguez, along with other athletes, is believed to be a customer of Anthony Bosch’s
Biogenesis of America clinic in Coral Gables. Major League Baseball considers this
clinic to be the center of a widespread doping operation in South Florida.
Sources told “Outside the Lines” that the procedures were different for Alex Rodriguez
than they were for other customers. The sources claim only Anthony Bosch would hand
A-Rod and would visit Rodriguez’s private residence to give him the injections.
Sources also claim that Bosch received texts from Rodriguez, instucting him to come to
the house. Visits were made every few weeks.

6. A spokesperson for Rodriguez said on Friday that “the allegations are not true.”
MLB officials believe Bosch is the center of the South Florida doping operation and they
have urged the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency to open an investigation. MLB officials
have also turned over information they collected to the DEA.
Sources in Florida, however, said they have seen no indication that an investigation has
begun. DEA officials have declined to comment on the existence of a case.
Anthony Bosch has claimed that the allegations made against him are “bill----“ and “all
wrong.” His attorney, Susy Ribero-Ayala, also put out a statement denying the
allegations, saying Bosch wouldn't be talking "any time very soon."
Rodriquez has denied ever being treated by Bosch or ever having any Performance
Enhancing Drigs administered by him.
One source familiar with the clinic has said Rodriguez’s cousin, Yuri Sucart, claimed to
have helped Rodriquez during his doping period 10 years ago that he has already
admitted to.
Anthony Bosch often presented himself to people as a physician.
However, Bosch does not even have a medical license.
Investigations will continue...
