CONTI NUI NG STUDI ES CERTIFI CATE PRO GRAM
This continuing education program is designed to provide individuals currently employed in the areas of health
promotion/education and community development with the professional knowledge, skills and attitudes to effectively
plan, develop and evaluate health programming through best practices while working within the framework of
community development.
Graduates of this program will have the skills and knowledge to work with health agencies in Northern and First Nations
communities and have an understanding of the health care dynamics within these communities. Opportunities for
employment exist within a variety of health care settings and related employment sectors. This program provides
flexible delivery options to accommodate students who are currently employed.
